| This web site is dedicated to the lives that have been lost and the
families that have been left behind by those who have made a tragic
decision. Our goal is to prevent future jumpers and destroyed lives by
educating the alternatives and the results of taking your life in a very
tragic and unglamorous way.
After personally witnessing a jumper take his life, a local independent film maker has decided to shoot a
documentary on the Skyway Bridge and its unfortunate history with
suicide victims. The filmmaker, will be interviewing surviving family
members, surviving jumpers, police officers, and medical examiners to
help the viewer understand how horrible this option to end of life can
be and offer success stories of the ones who either survived, or who
were contained and recovered. The "romance" in jumping from the top of
the Skyway Bridge has overcome too many people who could have been
helped. The filmmaker believes that if the families are willing to meet
with him and openly discuss the situation of their passed loved ones and
tell their stories, we can deter at least one jumper from ending their
life this way.
